What do you think about this bag? I just wonder if it's a real one. I have a genuin Yves Saint Laurent, and it's lined in cotton, not in suede, so I wonder...Thanks

Fake! The picture was stolen from Eluxury and look at the price! Lord only knows what the bag you'll receive will look like, if you receive something that is. If you read through the details it never says "guaranteed authentic", which would mean nothing anyway. Stay away from Ebay, especially if you are looking into LV. My advice is to save up and purchase the bag at the boutique.

Considering that photo was lifted directly from eluxury I'd say it was a fake. And $70 some for a $1,130.00 bag...I don't think so. Sorry

The hang tags on the bags and the wrapping on the hardware is a dead giveaway. Besides, like others have said before, these are very expensive bags, and Louis Vuitton never does wholesale, nor do they have factory rejects. No one can possibly sell a bag worth hundreds of dollars for $70.

Sorry!

Shoexgal - It just depends on the bag style, I guess. I see so many people walking around with fake LV in styles that were never created. (ex. Multicolor Retro or Cerises Papillon). Even if the quality is otherwise good, it looks silly, because I know the collection and I know right away it's fake.

Some of you people really kill me. I just don't understand why people get so offended by replicas. Does it have something to do with feeling superior to others, or is it a false virtues type of thing? And do all of you people have deep bank accounts that affords you these luxuries on a regular basis? I'm guessing no. In that case, i'm even more confused as to why people who don't have the money to finance this kind of lifestyle, should be up in arms over fakes. If you don't have a stake in something, why complain about it(but I'm not saying you can't have an opinion)?

Most of us live in a capitalist society, which means, we are all trying to reach a certain kind of socioeconomic status. Poor and rich people alike. People with little want to get rich, and if not, at the very least, appear to be rich. Or better yet, they want to buy into that kind of lifestyle. Can anyone really blame them? Just take a look at this shallow, materialistic society we live in. I don't see a reason why non-rich people should be denied those same luxuries that rich people can readily afford, even if they are replicas. In fact, I find it rather elitist for people to say that 'poor' people shouldn't be allowed to carry fakes, and if they do, they are fake themselves!? What the Hell is that all about? From my point of view, rich people who have the real deal are as fake as they come. They hop from one trend to another for the simple fact that they can. Their authentic Louis Vuitton 'It' bag doesn't tell people they are original, but it screams that they're following trends and buying into a certain lifestyle. Does that honestly sound 'real' to you?

Besides, not all rich people are that stuck up. Trust me. Some just could not care any less about fakes or authentics, and would not honestly mind if they knowingly had or intentionally bought a fake. There are those who buy things because they can (and makes them feel superior), and then those who buy things for their utility, regardless of where its from.

I know people like to act like an authority over these things, and point and snicker at fakes, but I've learned that some of these same people are neither rich or own any kind if luxury item themselves. And to me, that's the epitome of being 'fake'.

^For me personally it's the fact that there are TOO many fakes, and they're BAD fakes.
I lived in China for a number of years - and the fakes there were REALLY good, in fact when Armani came to China he went to one of the many markets and he said that even he couldn't tell the difference.

Most of the fake that I bought when I lived there I've thrown away now - it's crappy quality and just doesn't measure up to the real thing.
You don't NEED to own a wardrobe where every little thing has a Dior label sticking out (ooooh I wish) but you really could just save up for a while and get the real thing.

Bottom line is that real is just better quality - and if you're going to buy a fake make sure it's a good one. Personally though I will never buy fake stuff AGAIN.

Fake bags aren't fooling anyone. It's like putting a Jaguar hood ornament on your 1989 Hyundai and trying to pass it off as an XK...
