even though I generally prefer silver hardware, I think gold looks better with black -- the silver makes the bag look washed out. and since this bag is a reissue of the original 2.55, I think the gold is even more called for. I can't tell -- is the chain hammered like it was on the original? that would be so cool!

well pradaromance...if it's a remake of the original...and that's why you really want it...
i believe that the original only came with gold hardware...
according to the sales associate at the soho store...the silver hardware is something that karl introduced...

so for that reason..i'd say gold...no contest...

yes i believe those are indeed remakes of the originals and the chains will be hammered... just like the originals

Adn,

I saw that Chanel listed on eBay (#6762056810) a week ago and oh so wanted to get it. I loved the thick quilted strap but something held me back.

I googled Chanel 2003 Fall collection and got these pics.

The bag sold btw. The only thing that is making me not obsess about it is because there's also another Chanel I'm eyeing at the moment.

Debating to get this bag or not...

I need a bag that can spice up a pair of jeans, and a simple top, and that wont damage my oh-so-hungry credit card. Im worried that it I will get bored of it quickly, cuz maybe is to tren-dy that is already over.

any thoughts?

Pucci, we do have the same style..I was looking at that bag too! hehe But I dont think I will get it though..even though im tempted. I can see myself using it a few times and then wanting to buy something else with the money I spent on that bag. Also, theres lots of bags like that out now so I may have to get a cheaper alternative since it is quite trendy.

That is my favorite bag of the season, one of the nicest bags I have seen in such a long time. I wish they had produced the mens' version from the runway show
