well, with all the designer bags, i thought i'd do a thread giving the spotlight to some up and coming designers....or some of us that like to make our own bags.....or even just neat one-of-a-kind bags... here's a couple i have done and am working on:

Awesome portfolio jun3machina!!!

I love seeing purses made by individuals. Love the drawings too. I like how the drawings transform into a tangible object.

I've tried attempting a handbag myself, sadly I couldn't complete it all the way... even bought some leather for it but sourcing the hardware was a bear

making my own handbag -- suggestions??
hi, i want to construct my own tote, which seems pretty straightforward, but i need help figuring out what fabric to choose. i was thinking of sewing in a durable lining, and choosing a nicer fabric for the outside? also, i could make two totes: one for everyday use and another for dressy occasions.

i'd appreciate any suggestions you may have! thanks!
