I don't use the shoulder strap unless I'm traveling. I should have clarified that when I carry mine on my shoulder I use the handles. and I'm the same height as the Olsens too and felt strangled when I tried to wear it across my body. I must be husky or something.

in the city across me as its comfyer and easier to get into

if its light on my arm

if its heavy over my sholder

if im going somewere were its bound to get knocked alot i wear it across my body

I usually carry my black First on my arm or hand carry by the handles. Only when I'm shopping or holding other stuff, will I carry it on my shoulder with the strap.
