Left shoulder or left arm for handbags, but I'm also left-handed.

Left arm cause Im right handed, and because the cell phone pocket will be perfectly located when worn on the left arm.

With my puppy en towe I've tried to hold my handbags in my left hand and it just feels soooo awkward.

My new bag
Hello I'm new here and haven't managed to read all the threads so hope I am not repeating a question here.

I hope someone here can help me on the correct way to wear my new handbag. For the first time ever I have recently become the owner of a designer handbag from a well known London shop. It has initials dangling from it that irritate me as they clank a bit.

Should I remove these hanging initials? Would this devalue it or is this a very important part of using/wearing the bag. Should I just rearrange the initials?

Would those truly in the know know it was good bag without the hanging initials as there are other more subtle indictations of the name on the lock and 4 handle rings?

it might help answer the question if you told us what bag it was or took a picture of your bag.

Thank you for replying. It's a tan leather handbag by Dolce and Gabbana and it was a gift chosen by my husband.

if they bother you, i say take them off. i mean, if it were like the CD detective bag, then you'd not want to take them off because they are a major design point...but this seems ok...
