There are 3 photos in the attachment. If the photos don't show for some reason, just refresh the page.

Just for reference, I am 1.62m or 5ft 4" tall.

(Detailed review's in the previous thread. Please do a search for it)
That's a lovely bag xooey. I've been eying it for a while, but I originally wanted the greenish beige color. Sadly that one was never properly faked, and I drove Catty insane asking for it ("This one is too beige", "This one is too brown" ), and then it just never was. Too bad I'm not in the market right now, the black one would make a great basic bag with a twist.

Review of Prada Saffiano Long Wallet
Here are comparison photos of the Prada Saffiano Long Wallet (auth vs. rep). Please note that although both are of the same model, the interior (colour and design) differs slightly.

These are the differences:

1. The rep is slightly bigger than the auth (in terms of height).

2. The gold h/w of the auth is richer than the rep.

3. The fonts ('PRADA') are very different, refer to the close-up pic.

4. The gold 'PRADA' letters of the rep "pop" up too much on the wallet. On the auth, the 'PRADA' letters are flat and also do not have any sharp, pointy edges.

5. The gold h/w on the front flap of the rep wallet are placed slightly too high.

6. The saffiano leather of the auth is glossier than the rep.

7. The leather of the auth is slightly thicker than the rep.

8. The snap buttons of the rep don't close as easily as the auth.

9. The leather of the auth wallet has a wonderful, intoxicating (leather) smell that "perfumed" my bags for a month. The rep has little or no smell.

Overall, the rep wallet looks good on its own. Of course, when placed next to the auth, the flaws are very obvious. Biggest give-away of the rep wallet would be the gold 'PRADA' letters. They are also not aligned very neatly, as you can see from the close-up photo.

I think almost all the rep makers have the same problem. They never seem to get the 'PRADA' font and alignment right. But at 1/7th of the price of the authentic, I can live with it.

Looking forward to seeing your mulberry bags Coco
Hope Alexa sweet talks her way out of customs soon.
xjessiex- Yeah I usually put my special ocasion bags on the top like the weekender and my part time...as the works and citys get more rotation.

then, today i received a pair of silver O rings to fix my gsh argent day.
it took me 5 minutes, it was so easy!!
i asked t&d and they told me to use a pair of scissors ( the tips ).
here's the pic of the Orings with the scissors i've used.
on the left the new one, on the right the wrong one.
hope to help who wants to change them by herself!

Here's an interesting question I ask to you ladies...I have answered my own question at the bottom

we all know none of the bags we buy are 100% spot on, But whats the deal breaker or red flag for you?
For example..is it the color of the exterior/leather?
or the detailing or the hardware?
or the dimension and size? or the materials used?

I was just curious what our pet peaves are when buying our bags, as over the months of being a member here i see that there are "diff strokes for diff folks"
feel free to add your deal breaker to the list

Bagalicious- it's defintley the color of the bag for me..If the color is off I look no further, after I do my "Agatha Christie" color research...if the color don't fit..I must acquit.

I think it depends on what model bag I'm seeking. But, generally, the leather quality & colour is the most important issue for me. I have a rep bays that I purchased in Asia, which has superb leather and is accurate in colour, but the hardware is off. It's much more "antique" looking that the hardware on the auth, but I overlooked the flaw in favour for the leather & accurate colouring. Leather preference is the same reason why I haven't purchased a Choo blythe rep yet. No seller I've found has been accurately able to recreate the almost pathwork-like grain that the blythe has! I've seen plenty of nearly flawless reps with what appears to be certainly good quality leather, but not of the same grain. That's a dealbreaker.
