SMkelly- I was hoping you would see the picture of my city in the daylight as i wanted you to see it and get confidence. Try 1 thin coat. You can always do another if you feel the need.

Cloudyblue thanks for the description of the SC, i think I prefer a slouchy bag, so I guess this is not for me, everytime I buy a structured bag I never end up using it.

Pixelatted-Thanks, I have become used to softer bags now, and anything with structure and form tends to get to thrown to the wayside...is the SC comparable to the PS1? or more so? the PS1 is the maximum structure I can handle

I think there is something with our pic uploader, I have tried using it and keep getting error messages, i have been using photobucket lately.
Candy- Your raisin looks most like "raisin" in natural light, me thinks.

I have only seen 2 NBF raisins, Candys midday and beavercalls CP, They both look very different from one another.

Fanbao- did you order the rh part time?

I have both a sapphire ggh and gsh bag and i think sapphire is close enough to raisin to keep me happy, and i prefer the purple/blue undertone personally than red.
I also have a violet rh work and will soon be the proud owner of a new to me GSH violet city.....Hello FS member

I now have my city collection covered with all HW..

I think my next T&D purchase will be a red rh work or city.
And of course that 05 RH gray wk if i can ever hypnotize you

bagalicious: Have you heard anything from T&D on when we can expect the Black Men's Day and the Raisin Courier? It seems like we ordered back in October and here we are three months later and nothing in sight.

/\ Actually coco I canceled my raisin courier order in Novemeber

I decided I wanted a black rh city instead, as I wanted that classic bag in my collection. I E mailed the boys way ahead of time and they were cool with me getting a black rh city instead.

I realized I had enough purple bags, they understood.
I decided to go with the black PS1 for work and add a little variety to my work life

as i already had the VG courier.

Why are you rethinking the courier? you love that style.

And also Coco i cancelled my courier in November before it was even made, so it wasn't like they had made it, and i bought the rh city instead, They told me they could re-assign the leather for another bag that someone wanted so I was happy that I did it in time. I havent heard anything about the mens day yet.

Do you see how many bags that is. I am getting an Alexa - real or rep in Full size and two Authentic Bal Bags this Spring as well. Don't you think that is too many bags. The Clubs I don't want to change as I love that bag. I had a raisin City w/Rh on order but canceled it. I want to be able to wear my bags and enjoy my new ones not have angst over it.

maybe you should think a bit more before you order that many bags in future!

I personally order 2 at a time maximum (and thats rare..usually 1) i couldnt order that many bags at one time.
I mean if the bags you ordered are made can you still cancel? if you have prepaid? I don't know how it works in this instance

I just know in my particular case the raisin bag had not been made yet.

Purselover- According to T&D the mens day is only available in black with RH
Fashionplus- I don't have an answer to your question, I'm sure if someone does they will respond.

Wow coco! That's a lot of bags did you prepay for them all? It will be a super slow moving list - I have a list of bags I'm waiting for and a list of bags I have. I hate when the waiting list is long and won't budge...

Here's the old pic I posted of my 2 CP's. Raisin looks more raisin-y here, but it's still not as reddish as candy's - I think my CP may be from a sample batch, since it is darker than the bag pictures. Hope that helps!

bagalicious: my SC bag from J is cobalt...regarding the lining, mine is just exactly like pixellated pics, and J's pic. I never really compare the lining with the auth one, well i thought J's pic is the auth one (though the label looks messy). dont think the color same as J's navy PS1.

I think the raisin in the natural and indoor (without flash) light both looks like the auth - it changes color due to lighting too.
