In order to improve site performance, long threads that are draining our loading time will be closed and we are going to be periodically starting new threads. The closed threads can be viewed here, here, here and here.

The rules of this thread may be changed, but they will always be posted here in the first post of the thread. It is up to you to stay up to date on the rules.

Due to the fast growing nature of this thread, posts that do not contribute information will be deleted. The ioffer thread is here for members to find information and feedback and that is getting lost in all the other chatter. Please use PMs and/or profile comments if you want to post something else.

In order to have pages load faster, please comply with the following :

• Image size: no more than 800 pixels, please. Remember that not everyone is on a fast connection, or has a large screen, and keep your picture sizes to 800 pixels or less in the largest dimension. This will also help with page load speed.
• No Re-posts. Please refrain from re-posting the same images as contained in the archived threads (eg in the old closed thread).
• Stay on topic! There are threads in Heart and Soul if you want to chat. Off topic conversation will be deleted. If you wish to thank another poster or compliment them, please use the karma feature or profile comment instead. We are trying to control the voluminous, fast paced nature of this thread, which makes it very difficult for posters to find useful information.
• Edit your post rather than posting again. After posting a reply in this thread, you have ten minutes to edit your post. You can add more information or attach a picture, etc. All new posts trigger subcription emails for the hundreds of people that subscribe to this thread. Please think carefully before posting. if you can edit your previous post, please do so. Make it worth their while to be emailed via their subscriptions.
• Please do not post 2, 3 4 or 5 times in a row. A series of posts (unless you are answering another member's question) is considered "power posting" and the posts may be deleted.

Specific rules for this thread:

1. Do not post links to seller websites or type them (bagmaker dot com). Do not ask for seller information in the thread. If you need info on a supplier, please pm another member, or search to see what person received the info last and pm them. Note that it is up to the discretion of each member to respond to PM's of such nature.

2. Please do a search first if you want info on the quality of a specific seller. You can also check out pictures in the Ioffer Pictures thread.

3. The "other forum" can be mentioned in terms of giving information and crediting images. Any other posts regarding tPF may be deleted based on the discretion of the mod team.

4. ALL images must have an image credit or they will be deleted. Also, do not posts links to images...use a photo hosting site such as tinypic, photobucket, or supload.

5. No selling or spamming will be allowed. Therefore, do not post requests to purchase, as this will be considered soliciting a sale. This extends to wishlists that are posted in signatures.

6. The lists for T&D can be posted for one week maximum before they should be sent. This is something that clogs the thread and makes it hard to find important information.

I was wondering what happened to the turquoise too, I added myself to that list and never heard anything again. Ive emailed T&D too but havent received any reply..any news from you ladies?

has anyone ordered a LV makeup bag from jacky (the smaller pouches, not the big travel bags) and had it last? i ordered one awhile back for my sister and the zipper pull broke almost immediately (about a week into using it). i want one and so does she, but i'm not sure whether to order from jacky again or not. can anyone weigh in? i supposed i can wait for coin purses from t&d at the holidays to buy a makeup bag...

thesiren, I got the smallest one from jacky about 2 yrs ago and it still holds up well. no problem with the canvas and the zipper. the leather part also got a nice patina..HTH!

they might consider rerun turquoise, but not in VELO style, because that combo was never made in real bal

sickofsushi: It's not an interest issue with the RGGH, it's a cost/profit issue AFAIK. The RGGH has real gold in it, and I also think they have to order in very large quantities, and so the bags become significantly more expensive, with more risk of them having leftover stock. They tried running RGGH bags a couple of months back and apparently there wasn't enough interest to warrant it...

ame_sparkle: Hey you, long time no see ! I've been pestering T&D about the GSH BDR First as well. Surely there's enough girls now?

I also asked them about Moutarde and there was a deafening silence (as in, no reply when usually they reply within 12 hours at the most). Trouble at t'mill?! (<- apologies, you probably won't get this unless you're British...)

Has anyone ever gotten this message from The Boys before:
"Hi M,
Your other baby got send back from customs.
It's nothing to worry about.
They occasionally do random checks.
It's just to keep up appearances.
As soon as it is back at the courier office he will send it out again and give the new tracking number."

Should I be worried? This has never happened before with any other T&D purchase. I'm also concerned because Militaire was done before the Olive bags and we know those have been shipped out. Will I ever get my Militairie Velo?

To carta and smkelly -- the previous thread comments about finding your purchases less special after a while, YES. I accumulate too quickly, and find myself with regrets on certain purchases, especially trendy bags. A good rule of thumb I’ve tried to abide by is selling/giving away two things for every purchased.

they recently sent me the same message about my anthra city, I received it with no problems, so I really wouldn't worry you should be fine

but hasn't arrived yet..Maybe there's a problem with Chinese customs lately

i think we can expect a few delays girls - apparently the chinese govt are closing roads and factory electricity time to reduce smog and traffic during the Asia games! (can you imagine suddenly not having power for 1/2 day which working at your computer to reduce city smog?!) or its T&D sales-speak for 'we have no idea' - that's the same set of reasons for delays and not getting moutard out!

Ame_sparkle, thanks for updating us on the status of BDR First w GSH. I was real close to getting BDR City instead, whew! I'll be waiting with bated breath for the pics to be out too, yay!

balfad, I believe they're sold out. But just to be sure, why don't you drop the boys an email? They're quite prompt in replying to emails.
