i'm like ashionista...i have 4 authentic balenciagas and 3 NBF ones and my friends can't tell the difference...
a few of them liked my NBF ones so much they bought bags from them...
i've taken the NBF ones into neiman's and they can't tell the difference either...
i probably wouldn't take them into the balenciaga store...

I think it is so rude for people to ask whether it's "real" or not. It's just none of their business! It's pretty much like asking them if their shoes are made of real leather, etc. I know it's been brought up many times in this forum and other ones too but I believe it's totally up to someone how they want to spend their money..

And I've been reading this book called ON MY OWN TWO FEET: A Modern Girl's Guide to Personal Finance... and boy, let me tell you, I feel foolish for spending my money on such nice things but temptation never rests until satisfied

kate, I have that chanel (or at least I think it's that one) from catty and I love it. It's not as perfect looking as my union jack one (which has swiftly become my favourite bag in the world), I feel like the leather gets a little creased so doesn't have such a puffy perfect 'quilt' look. That might just be a problem with any metallic though. I'm not familiar with the real reissue, but I'm very very happy with it.

I have real and fake bags. People can't tell the difference between the real ones and the fake ones and I don't enlighten them if they're not close friends (it's nobody's business!, and if they're asking clearly they care how much I spent on it which isn't a curiosity I feel the need to allay).

I cannot decide between the caviar and lambskin 2.55 reissues.

I've read that the caviar isn't all quite right... and it is more expensive. But there's still something more serious looking about the caviar that makes it feel less like replica. The lambskin is tempting too though. I just cannot choose.

Any suggestions?

If you are interested in an NBF Bbag in the color BUBBLEGUM, you should email them right away. They will be doing only a few in this color, I think it's sort of a neutral pink!! Very pretty!!
