I tried to find a bag I've seen on the street, but i couldn't find it...

Is it better to search for it in the official stores?
It's possible the bag you saw on the streets is either 1)fake or 2)from a previous line in which case neither will be on the official LV site.

If you try to describe the bag, some members here can help you identify it.

after enduring years of me pining for a Louis, my boyfriend offered to give me my first one for Christmas. That, or a laptop around the same price - mine's dying.

Speedy 35 or a laptop?

Speedy you can use computers at your college or whatever instead... ok both items are darn heavy, but I hate spending money on high tech items since they break down quite fast in contrast to bags ^^

Ok Speedy it is. I was set on the mono until my friend said I should get damier so I shouldn't have to worry about the patina on the leather. They're both gorgeous. Which should I get for my first LV?

Decisions. Oh, and I am 5'7 and a big girl - Speedy 35 no?

This might be a stupid question, but can someone descibe to be how big the Keepall 60 is? Like how many days worth of clothes can fit inside it? I would go to the LV store near my house, but the sales people there are a tad bit UNHELPFUL.

Antigone, I can't find a pic! I thought I had one, but it's only of my top half so you can't see much perspective. I'll take one tomorrow and post it up. xx

I think it's more the volume of the Speedy shape that makes them seem so big, as many of my bags are 40cm and I never think of them as huge.. big day bags, but not ginormous enough to worry about size. My Kors Astor Weekender is huge and I carry that as a day bag, it's 17" or 43cm. Actually I might get a pic of that too for comparison, and one of my Mulberry Euston which is exactly the same size and shape as a Speedy 30.
