THis makes me so sick. I'm looking for a bag for my mom as a gift and I come across hundreds of these on E-bay (this one already is up to 23 bids) It's an obvious fake....Is there anything to do to stop this....also any advice where I can get a multicolor? my mom really wants one... thanks

Maybe report it to Ebay? I believe they aren't "allowed" to sell fakes on Ebay even though tons of people obviously do! Have you checked with all the Louis Vuitton shops in your area?

Reporting to e-bay doesn't work, since they just profit from their listing. In addition to some buyers who bid on these, the prices are soo high that ebay wants the profits! Does it matter if your mom gets a real or a fake? There are some really good ones out there unlike the one picture..

well that one has that stupid piece of "leather" hanging from it and the "louis vuitton" tag with that round plastic thing, and if you notice the bottom of the bag, all the brass studs are really no aligned well.....I checked the louis v. store in my area and they have none, do I have to order it? If I do how much would that specific bag cost?

There is a company called Vero that works with Louis Vuitton and removes these type of listings.. I have no idea how to contact them but they do exist.

well not over here. they dont even hide them here. they are exposed instore and anyone can see them as they are walking by

my LV store is like that too. tons and tons and TONS of the murakami purses here. ugh. there were like three white and a few black "Jessica Simpson" bags in the window when I walked by last week.

Does LV do any bags that don't have their logo all over them? Or any that aren't two-toned?

of course. the EPI and the TARGA leather are one color and there is also some special leathers such as ostrich, croc, etc

I hope people arent fooled if the prices were 3000...
What tells me its fake is the lil lv price tag thingy lol and the plastic wrapping on the handles..
