DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! The SA sold it out from under me. I missed his call last night (somehow didn't hear my cell) and he went to the next person. Frickin' work people had me occupied this morning so I just now had a chance to call. I'm SO PISSED! I told him to assure me that the return was scratched or damaged and he said (jokingly), "Yeah, it was pretty beat up." I choose to believe that. He knew how desperate I was for that bag so I'm really mad.

OH! I'm so sorry to hear that daisy, the SA at least should had given you enough time to get back to him or at least should try to contact you again afterward. I hope you be able to find it from else where.

As for my taupe NAP has sent me the email to ensure that the bag they ship to me does not have the problem with the clasp-lock. But there's one thing they mention in their email for the reason the clasp-lock come undone:

"Thank you for your reply and your great feedback about our service!
Our Fulfillment department have checked the bag and confirmed that the clasp is secure and not loose.
However, the nature of the bag is that is that it isn't designed to be over-stuffed and the clasp will come undone if the bag is too full!
We hope this helps and that you enjoy your new purchase."

And YAY they has dispatched the bag.

I also have bag news! My small taupe Stam arrived today from Saks. It is lovely, but it doesn't hold much at all. I want to keep it because I love the taupe color and I don't know if I will ever get my hands on the larger one. But I can't picture myself using the small bag on a daily basis. I always carry large bags, even when I go out at night. Decisions, decisions.

the bag looks a decent size on her.. but when i saw it in person, it didn't look like it would fit all that much..
and the east/west version looks pretty much useless, imo.. LOL. though SOOO freaking cute.

but i FINALLY saw what they mean about stuffing the bag too full, and the clasp will pop open! i filled it today for a while (i stuffed in a sweatshirt along with everything else i carry...lol) and it popped right open.

...and i don't wanna jinx it....(or ruin a surprise..) but i think my mom scored me a taupe stam for xmas....and maybe some accessories..??...we'll seee in a month!!

and there's been plenty of detail pics posted.....so i'll just post one pic of my black:

loves it!! <3 i don't leave home without it..(my poor lv damier speedy is feeling lonely, i bet....)
