ahhh so i received my black stam over the holidays and it was perfect until i realized there's a teensy little snag on it it's beautiful though, and it's the "icy" leather which i love... but what do you guys think, keep it or return it?

meow, how long did you wait for it? Is the snag likely to get worse? If it isn't that bad and unlikely to get worse - keep it. If you waited a long time to get it then it may be just as tricky to get another next season. Besides, you can sell it on should you decide to take your chances come spring/summer.

i don't think i waited very long for it... i don't even know how the snag got there... if it's because all the stitching is delicate, then perhaps i should return it... but i have no clue. it doesn't look like i'd be likely to snag it there again, but who knows. i've called bergdorf's and they told me that the vendor has discontinued the stam... and that so far they have nothing in terms of future shipments.

mmm tricky one. I'm sure MJ will re-do black for next season anyway. Perhaps best to try and pick one up in person at a shop/boutique, as you can never be sure of what you're getting otherwise.

I'd like to get a Stam preferably in Taupe but I'm not sure what it'll go with. Any suggestions?

I think tuape will go with warm earthy colors... Brown, cream, tan, dark red, dark green.

thanks guessgirl for your suggestion but i can't decide between the black and the taupe!! ...I'd get both if I could...

I just heard that the new season's bags may include a Dark Brown. Might be nice.

^^ Dark brown sounds nice. But 95% of my bags are brown. lol

Finally got around to uploading pictures of my small Stam. I still haven't decided if I'm going to keep it. Lately, I have been thinking about just getting the large Stam from eBay. I love the Taupe so much!

Klow, hopefully your Stam does come today (or tomorrow!) I can't wait to see pictures of it. I'm excited for you. :+)

meow - if MJ will definately produce more bag in spring and summer and you not really happy with the one you got may be return it. But if I were you I would keep it though

edna - It is truely gorgeous, congratulation...I the color . When I first glance I thought it was a bigger size, it does not look small at all in these pictures.

And yay I received my bag this morning. The awsome mailman left the box on my desk before I got in to work this morning.

I have spent half an hour inspecting every corner of the bag the stitches, inside lining and couldn't find any spot or loosen thread. So over all it is perfect and I truly love this bag. I love the lining color as well. Btw I must say I am very happy with the quality of MJ bag and this is my first MJ bag.

Will post some pics when I get home hopefull there's still bright enough.
