i was curious if the hardware is gold on all of them?? it looks almost like an antique finish on the taupe one...does anyone know??

Hi, I had my taupe stam delivered by nap today and it is DIVINE! The hardware is perfect, the gold is quite brassy...not too yellow. The clasp is chunky and a perfect detail. The feel and colour are great...though it is slightly darker than I expected. Will try and post pics at some point...

For those people who have seen the petrol , is it a very dark blue that can almost pass off as black or is it like more blue than black ? Thanks !

it's more of a dark teal/blue, imo...
definately different than black...but still pretty dark...

it's definitely not so dark that it could pass for black, like a navy. and it's made even brighter by the shiny leather.

ohhhhh and pretty pretty please post some pics of your bag! that nieman marcus photo is GORGEOUS but they used a yellow light on it to make it look even more delicious and it makes it hard to tell the real color. thanks so much moriseel!!

if you go to marcjacobs.com under bags and fall 2005...they have pics of them. i haven't seen them for sale on any sites yet...so they must be coming soon or something. oh i hope you post pics of your taupe one!

i saw the petrol stam at mj collection store in boston...it was a few weeks ago, not sure if it's still there...
as for the new colors, they're not released yet, but will be released, soon, i imagine.. i'm hoping to get a call when they come in.....but who knows..loli really do wanna see all the colors before i finally decide... though i keep on going back to the taupe.....(my sister likes the petrol...)
