i didn't find it too heavy at all.
i was actually surprised at the weight. i expected it to be too heavy...but it wasn't at all....oddly enough

just bought the taupe on nm online...they said they carried 64 and have sold 48 as of today. i called nm in honolulu and they had sent their last one to mainland. they're selling like hotcakes...my sa said the mainland stores won't do any transfers either.

btw, i've been given 5 different descriptions of the color...i was hoping for a greyish tinge but everyone is saying it is brown...can anyone with this bag post a pic? are the pictures in ads different than irl? thanks

thats the color i want to, but its so hard to tell what it looks like in the pic, as i said before, because they are using a yellow warm light in the neiman marcus photo....if anyone has the bag, and i know a few of you do, pretty please could you post pics for us?? oh and eclecticbagz, try going to marcjacobs.com...at least in that photo they used normal lighting...it seems like its a brownish taupe. still gorgeous and i still really want it!!

thanks, jun also, i just noticed that the front zippered pocket on the neiman website is gold whereas the picture in the christmas book is taupe...i wonder which one they are sending out because i really like the taupe colored zipper.

also, you can always return the bag if you don't like the color. that's what i plan on doing if its not what i expected...

i was just talking to a neiman marcus rep, and they said once these bags are sold out, thats it. they have been discontinued...and they are selling out quickly...anyone want to donate to my "MJ: i cant stand not having a stam" fund??

i prefer the bag in the soft nappa leather which I think is only available in the marc jacobs boutique - may actually be lighter too !

no that's the stam bag which comes in 2 different leathers, the textured and the smooth

Eclecticbagz there's a pic of it on NAP under NAP notes - I think that might be the closest representation of the colour. It's a khaki brown,
