I'm considering getting the stam (not sure yet if I will), but am torn between the taupe and petrol. I already have a petrol spy, but spy has more green in it and is darker than the stam petrol, would the colors still be too similar? Also, I wear jeans most of the time, would it look bad with jeans? I like the petrol better but am having reservations becuase of those 2 reasons.

Opinions really appreciated

/\ obviously not because there are so many of 'em out there...i just feel bad because once a short time ago, i wasn't nearly as well informed about fakes and all of that,( until TFS and getting burned on ebay). and i know there are tons of decent people out there that see something like this and think its for real and then get screwed.....it just really makes me angry!

Oh my goodness! I had no idea this was going on! Thank you klow_chloe for alerting me! What kind of person would do something like that to try and rip people off! I am so mad

I completely want to report this person, its so unfair that they're ripping people off. If anyone knows how to report this please let me know.

hey guessgirl, im totally rooting for the taupe bag. i live in jeans too, and it works with everything!

if i was in your shoes and got the petrol color stam bag, and had the spy you're talking about, i think i'd have a fight between the two bags everytime i'd want to take one out with me, because the color would be awfully similar. i had this happen with some bags before and it ruined my whole flow everytime it came to picking out a bag, that ultimately i stopped using both, just to avoid the "bag fight".

and i think no matter if your a blonde, brunette or whatever (in jeans) the taupe would look FANTASTIC! but thats just my opinion

when i tried the petrol on, i was wearing jeans (lol, which is an obvious statement for me, as i ALWAYS wear jeans...), and i loved the color alone, but next to my jeans (i always wear darker denim), it felt a little odd.....i didn't like it and ultimately, that's what turned me off of the petrol as a color choice for me....i alwayys wear jeans, i didn't like them together....

on the website, the bag is listed as coming out in pearl.....
so that's my dilemma now. should i hunt down a taupe (my first love) or wait to see if the pearl materializes.....i do need a white bag....but i'm not sure i wanna wait, since i'm not sure what the second coming of the bags is gonna include and how available those will be...

i hope both you and guessgirl can find these bags, because i know they are harder and harder to find....i've got to say i totally agree with agirlcalledk1, blues are so hard to match and clashing demins and this particular blue, would seem to me, an easy thing to do...i dont know how you'd go about coordinating it because its such a different color. i mean its beautiful, but im not sure if its very practical. i think the pearl is very nice, but i can't for the life of me have white bags, because somehow they always manage to turn into mark magnets

I alerted iOffer customer service, hopefully something will be done about all this.

If anyone is looking for Taupe I saw a couple Bloomingdales in Garden City! They were pristine and waiting for a nice home.
