I'm looking for a small handbag, something that's smaller than 8"x11", (20 cmx28 cm methinks), my budget is < $700. Something that's classy, simple, & chic and will last through a few seasons and trends. So far I do not like: Fendi mini Chefs, Chanel Ligne Cambon Pochette, no LVs, no Prada nylon hobos, nothing too logo-y. I'm sooo picky

here's a Gucci I sort of like, but not sure about the bamboo chain.

Please help me, thank you!

I really like that Gucci bag of your choice. It's very classy and timeless, nothing you could carry no longer than a season.
I'd give it a go if you can afford it

Chanel Ligne Cambon! If I had the money I would definately invest it in a pouchette. Chanel is always classic and I've seen the bags in person and they are definately cute

$700, ay? I think you'll go a long way with that....

Try Rafe, a quite unknown label, but big on NY-ers.
$360 each

Probably a Bottega Veneta? Where you're money will go a long way since it's known for TOP quality.
$480

A J&M Davidson?
$314

-BV, Dior Deco & Chloe. I really don't like the Gucci. I thought that you didn't want a logo? It looks like the kind of bag that is knocked off frequently. I have a bag w/the "g" fabric, but it's a monsterous hobo. I like the tackiness of it, but it doesn't sound like yo are going for a ghetto-fab look.
