After seeing your picture, I again called 866-VUITTON.* You won't believe what they told me.

The pic on eLuxury is wrong!* They are going to make them remove it.* I argued with her about the monogram being upside down on one side and so she went and got the bag and a "leather specialist" said that the logo should be right side UP on both sides with a seam in the middle of the bottom of the bag.

I questioned her several time about the pic from eLuxury and asked if it was fake, she stammered and said, no that they were an authorized deal, but they don't know why they have the wrong pic.

I now suspect that MyPoupette was correct in saying that the bag was produced both ways.* I love LV and will continue to purchase their products, but I am a little disappointed that their phone specialists aren't a little more knowledgeable about the products.* At first she put me on hold for a long time and came back and said there wasn't a pic of the medium looping on eLuxury!* I laughed and told her that I was LOOKING AT IT RIGHT NOW.* She was pretty flustered, but, in the end, answered the question.

Funny, I still don't feel confident either way!* I think I'll chose another LV bag to purchase.

Thanks to all!
personally, i do NOT trust mypoupette at all. but that's just my opinion [/b][/quote]
Neither do I I know that her and her minions (sp?) of people exchange feedback after they pretend to buy from eachother. It's ridiculous

WOW! I didn't realize MyPoupette was such a fraud! It's so sad because there is a demand for LV on the secondary market. There are certainly plenty of wealthy people who discard their bags after a season or two and people who just tire of their bags and want to get rid of them.

I so wish that there was a legitimate place to purchase these goods - and not at the local level as in consignment stores. There are so many around the country that you cannot get a decent selection at any one reseller.

I love designer bags, but cannot always afford the hefty price tags. Don't laugh, but next I want a Chanel. Now that one I may have to save up for. I have never seen so many bags on eBay before! I can't tell one from another - well, I wouldn't know WHAT to look for anyway. I want a casual one - like a drawstring that I can use everyday that won't look too dressy. We'll see...

By the way, eLuxury wrote back and said that LV was wrong and that they are owned by MHLV...blah...blah...blah. We'll see if the pic changes anytime in the near future. Also, someone named Antonio confirmed that the bag WAS made both ways! AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGG...

Thanks again all!

And to think that I was the only one

I dont trust it either. I have a few LV purses and out of curiousity I checked some of their pictures. I have a real canvas Large Bucket bag from the LV boutique. I compared it to the picture from Mypoupette and their picture was questionable.

I think it's all a cover anyway. Just so they can peddle their fake bags. Granted, some of the sellers do sell authentic bags, a lot of them don't.

I wouldnt trust anything on ebay even if they were platinum sellers and had the mypoupette.com recommendation. Always purchase it from a boutique or somewhere reputable.
i find it pretty suspicios that mypoupette.com doesnt have a proper professoional website, i mean no offence, but the website looks like it was made by a child

I am glad I was not the one that felt this way about them. I was scared of it so I edited my post... I believe many of the sellers they recommend sell fakes.

First of all, many pictures are questionable. They are send by anonymous people, why does she trust people she doesn't know? Anybody can alter a picture and make the thing seem real.

Secondly, they contradict themselves too often. Examples are 1) saying real LV's do not have plastic around the handles, but posting pictures of "real" Murakamis with them "because they're the exception". Although I am sure they come with plastic, LV doesn't sell to wholesellers, so I doubt they could get hold of a straight-out-of-factory item. Or 2) saying the Ellipse has one centered row but posting pictures of Ellipse's with two rows, claiming "they released a new version".

Thirdly, I know many facts are wrong. For example, she claims the Pouchette's LV markings in the handle must be placed vertically, but many (sometimes older) releases are placed horizontally.

Finally, the way she discourages people to buy from certain sellers or places is cruel and mean. Yes, I am aware Yahoo allows people to sell counterfeit items -as does Ebay, but accusing somebody of selling them and posting their username on a public website is against the law and act of privacy -I can't comprehend why she isn't afraid of being sued. I wonder how she knows these people are selling fakes? What if somebody regreted having spent so much money and reported them to mypoupette as an act of revenge?

... those are my thoughts on mypoupette... I felt guilty the last time I wrote that so I may edit this message if I do again. On one hand, I think it's nice of her to want to help others, but she isn't doing it for free, so...

Exactly...most people who are on mypoupettes recommended sellers have and are selling dozens of LV items.. if LV WHOLESALERS dont exist...where do they get all their bags from? I mean come on now... those are a lot of bags...

I agree! I feel more comfortable buying from someone with one or two bags than someone with 50. Consignment stores don't even have that selection!

That's exactly what I think they are! They're just trying to give people false confidence in buying from their recommended sellers!
