I'm thinking of getting a Burberry tote for my niece, who is a 21-year-old college student (the tote will be her school bag I suppose).
however I don't own any Burberry and totally not familiar with them.
what's the differnce between the classic novacheck with Equestrian Knight logo and the newer material which is PVC or something coated?
which one is easier to take care of and more durable?
and which looks better in your opinion?

Thanks, everyone!

the classic canvas (bags in this seem to have brown and red trim/handles, right?)

the newer material (I only find this canvas with black trim/handles.....)

I think this is the model I'll get for her, do you think it's better in this or the classice canvas?

I'm 17, and I know that I prefer the newer material w/ the black. I don't like the knights at all, and prefer just the plain novacheck.

If your niece is extra girly, you could get her the candy novacheck tote if you're able to find one. The candy novacheck tote has the classic burberry design only using the colors white, pink, and babyblue. It's quite nice.

As far as I know, they are made from the same material as the regular novacheck.

But hmm... I looked one up and it said it was made from fabric (canvas w/ leather trim) and that it's vinyl coated.

yeah, they are both canvas bags.

first one is coated canvas (like Vuitton Monogram and Damier).
second is vinyl coated canvas.

i also prefer the plain checks

but dislike the black handles. they look very cheap and slapped on. the handles on the other bag (red) looks much more lingeries and sturdier

if they were as the length of the black ones and where on the plain checks it would be perfect.

I'm 16 and I would LOVE the candy-colored tote. I wish you were my aunt!

I have a Burberry in the Cotton Candy...its coated canvas and I LOVE it. Carry it everywhere. One of the bags I don't regret buying.
