No positano!! You are not a good influence!

And did you notice the detail on the chain and how the patent holds underneath the buckles, love that...

They're saying that the small/medium patent is $1750, looks like the smaller size is only $100 less

I love the blue, it has this really cool retro feel. Now it's down to deciding red or blue and black or white. Or maybe I should rule out blue again becuase I wear jeans most of the time? Or maybe go for the funky colors and get a red and blue? This is too hard...

Guessgirl, I think the red and black would look the best with blue denim, but if you prefer grey denim, the black and white would look best. So since, you are buying both a medium and large B-Bag. Which size would you use the most? I think that size should be bought in black patent. And then with the other size you can just buy a colour, that is funky...

As I was only phoning Fendi in London from Paris I can't be absolutely sure which bag the 900 GBP price relates to. The guy said that it was the starting price for the two-buckle B-bag as shown on the catwalk . I said I was interested in the smaller version of the red patent bag so I think 900 GBP was for the smaller 2 buckle B and not the 1 Buckle B and not for the larger B Bag. I hope this makes sense.

Diorella - if you're in London you should go in -they have some pictures and they'll possibly be able to give you more info...

Thanks Diorella! This is so hard, nice to hear a voice of reason

I'd like to try out the large but I'm not certain that I'd keep it, so I may end up with two medium sizes (thats when fendi was calling them, when I said small they thought I wanted the one with 1 buckle) I would only do the red or blue in the large size, I think the white and black definaltey look better in the smaller size.

What sizes/colors where you thinking of getting?

I was thinking of a large in blue or red patent, and a medium in white patent or tan calf with black patent trim. If the large is too big, a black patent and a red or blue patent medium B-Bag would be perfect for you.

Thanks again! I'll have to think about it some more before I make my final decision... I really appreciate the help

is this the thread with the most posts ever prior to bag launch?

the chain (without the rings) looks much prettier than i thought it would up close...and i love the patent dimples. so loveable!

gg, i agree with your grouping of white/black and blue/red. i don't think you should get white and black, or red and blue because it sounds like you want one classic color and one funky color.

if the large is not overwhelming, the red or blue large would look stunning! if it's humongous, the white large may look very edgey as well (like how the ivory muse is IMO much better looking in the XL...) i agree that if you want the black, you would have to get it in the small.

one thing i have to warn you about...i did open the small, and it doesn't hold very much at all. so you may want to get a more versatile color in the large (like red or white, as opposed to the blue) to make sure you can tote more stuff in the large for daytime with any color ensemble.

one other unknown is the brown calf in the large. which i've only seen in the lookbook, but knowing fendi leather, could be beautiful in a vintagey kind of way and be a very different bag from the patent....

It seems that the B-Bag has so many variations, I am so overwhelmed... I am really unsure as to which I should buy! I will be able to see a lookbook tomorrow at Fendi, so hopefully it will all be clear then... I agree with ilovepositano, Guessgirl. Although, I think the white would be more manageable in the smaller size. But then it's style VS practicality, which is why it is very hard to decide...

You may be right!

I'm pretty sure I wan the red as one and then the blue/black/white for the other. My original intention was to get one classic color and a funky color like you mentioned, but i really wouldn't mind 2 funky colors if I find that what I like best.

I agree with diorella that I think the white is better in the smaller size, and same with the black IMO too. Size isn't really an issue for me as far as practicality, it's nice to have lots of things but the only things I really *need* are my phone and blot strips.

The tan leather almost seems to be similar to the spy leather with the turtelyness of it. It looks good in the small but I personally dont like how overstuffed it looks in the large.

Diorella, your definaltey not alone with the overwhemlness of these bags! Why did they have to make so many, it's so hard...

Which makes it so much more difficult to choose...
