That bag is insane! The big bag is officially a caricature of its formal self.

I'm carrying one of my Hero bags today and my co-worker (a male) who shares an office with me walks in, stops in his tracks, and goes:

"woooah, that's the smallest bag I've ever seen you with, it doesn't even need it's own chair like all the others"

anyhow, I found it hillarious, it's kinda ironic that my small bag is the one getting noticed in my sea of big bags

There seems to be a backlash against large expensive totes. I see lots of girls carrying canvas shopping bag totes from trader joes, whole foods, or random totes that you can get at conferences, etc. Interesting...

its a bit funny though, because i think the big bag trend was going on a few seasons ago, alah partial inspiration from MK and Ashley olsen.....noted that most bags look big on them anyways, because they are so peitite. (Im not saying they are the sole starters of this trend, i just cant name any more right off the top of my head right now because i just woke up)....it kinda started after people started immitating that...only this fall it has been official announced as the trend, and while i see some women trying to work it, others like myself try to be anti-trendy because we did it before the magazines had the spreads on oversized bags, and are kinda trying to be onto the next thing before it hits the masses and becomes diffused...

Anyway i have one question to the big bag lovers: do you find everything in the bag right when you need or you have to climb and search in it sometimes? Really, i'm not joking. This is my biggest problem with huge bags.

war rations perhaps? (picturing a rosie the riveter ad with a trader joes bag on her arm ) thank you al gore for making a movie of things that needed to be discussed YEARS ago....( no but seriously...i think perhaps there's a larger amount of people who are realizing the state of the world and the environment and are thinking twice before they do things. so more people are recycling, for the meantime that is, as this could just be trendy environmentalism.)

well, many interior pockets or small make-up bags and such do help in categorizing and locating things.....of course there's always submarine sonar too. i have the same problem!

The purseket comes in really useful for me here. And definitely cheaper than a sonar :p

i think for men, big bags are here to stay

yea in most bags, stuff gets lots easily, but thats why i love the big balenciaga bags, like the voyager

i use the front outer pocket for stuff i know ill be using a lot thru out the day (cell phone and cigs mainly)

then i use the inside pocket for circumstancial items (wallet, keys, ipod, etc)

the rest of the bag is used for lap top, magazines, sunglasses, and anything else that fits in there, and with this organization i never have problems finding anything

i really want a coco cabas though

I like this trend because I always have alot of stuff in my bags. But some bags are just extreme especially on petite people.

But I think it looks ridiculous when people have a huge bag with barely nothing in it. Not only because bags often look bad empty, it feels like you just want to show of a expensive bag.
