I had been seeing that bag in candids and style shots and wondering who made it. Its gorgeous and not overdone.

I also love their other styles

My best guess for stockists in the UK would be Harvey Nichols, Browns and Matches. I would try calling each and see what they say.

These bags are gorgeous but honestly, I find the price too high for what it is. It's like the YSL messenger from last season as well, which came in stamped nubuck. When cash is flowing everywhere, raising the prices is understandable, but if you are launching your first bag collection in this atmosphere, I'll be interested to see how they sell. Especially when these designs (the messenger style) could be found in a comparable leather in the vintage section of ebay. I'm all for paying for things that are worth the money, but $1995? I think $1195 would be a better starting point.

I know what you mean about the prices, and under normal circumstances I would find them unreasonable as well. I usually only let myself pay a lot for a bag from an established brand. Something like a classic Chanel that I'll wear forever. But the black python.... I may just have to throw my fashion morals out the window for this one.

I understand - I'm not criticizing, and the black python is particularly lovely. But there you are at least getting an exotic skin...

I agree with you Meg, on the points that you have made about the prices.

I like the PS1 a lot, but then I also like the Chloe Paraty a lot too. But the prices of these bags and other bags in general, are giving me handbag ennui. Seems like a lot of new bags are being launched into the market lately at over 2K, or at least the 1.9K range. I miss the days when the bags were priced at a more sane level, relatively speaking.

Oh well, that said, if anyone know the retail price of the python PS1, do let me know!

Looking at the bags, I'm actually thinking of getting the medium in black leather. The large is too large, and the python is out of my price range at the moment.

But I do think the plain leather is more understated, which is more my style anyhow.
