JAS MB was my first ever designer bag! I bought from their first collection in 2001 with my student loan! It was a leather tote with cracked paint effect.
Love them love them!

do you know where you can buy these from?
You can get them from either mightyflirt.com (which is where i ordered mine from) - or from lunaboston.com.

Both sites have coupon codes right now. Lunaboston has a 15% off code (grechen) and mightyflirt has a 10% off (toutie). Also - Lunaboston has tons of other cute bags, too. I'm loving the ones by Marnie Bugs and Dutchy.

Here's another guy that is new on my radar - Giorgio Brato. His bags remind me of Sissi Rossi. Love the old, worn look. Pics are from activeendeavors.com

Susie, glad you posted about Jas MB. I discovered these bags a few years ago but no one had any info or even heard of this designer! There was a woman who had a Jas MB bag..really slouchy and gorgeous and I was so jealous of her..I couldnt find it anywhere though.

I am really loving this Betsy Johnson bag. Why bother getting the MJ Stam bag ( especially since you can't because it's sold out everywhere ) when you can get this more original style and more boho too.

I also absolutely adore Ipanema bags from Hanoi, Vietnam...anyone else?? That woman is easily the most gifted bag designer I have ever, ever, ever, seen. Walking into Ipanema in Hanoi is like walking into heaven.

^Love your vintage finds.

Jas MB can be bought at Selfridges and Harvey Nichols and of course the Jas MB store Doors on 8 Ganton Street in Soho.
Not sure about where in NYC do they carry Jas MB. I know somewhere does tho!

I have a pewter large slouchy bag and a dark bronze waist pouch too. Will post pics later. I got mine in Tokyo coz Jas MB is really big over there!

Here's another example from Ebay.
