You're most welcome, jun3machina

Since you design bags yourself, you might be interested in this site (if you haven't already visited it):

Up-and-coming Scottish designers though!

Hi libby bee, I am a browser, not a buyer, but here's my two cents' worth:

Vote for:

Hayden-Harnett

What about Gerard Darel bags - any plans to carry GD bags?

How about Tano?

Libby bee, just out of nosiness, may I ask what other lines you carry or are considering?

I really like the look of these bags by Canadian designer Christopher Kon, you can find some of his bags online at sites like jacquelinejarrot.com, bagshop.com, delfinoshop.com. So far,I haven't come across anyone yet who's bought any of his bags, though (according to his official website, there are three stores in Florida that carry his bags).

Then there's Kale

Pics off delfinoshop.com, pianyc.com,

Good luck, libbybee!

PS What did you think about the Tano bags?

IMHO this is a very useful site if you wish to look at the work of some independent handbag designers:

http://www.grechenscloset.com/index....y060115-163655

Marnie Bugs for instance - lunaboston carries a few styles eg

http://www.lunaboston.com/BrowseItem...KU=15351&NTS=0
Lila Shoulder Bag $380

http://www.lunaboston.com/BrowseItem...KU=15346&NTS=0
Elizabeth Messenger $415

Pics off lunaboston

Another vote for Hayden Harnett. I think these guys are going to be big in a couple of years.
I have the H-H Mercer Satchel in both black and chalk and it! It's so well designed with the multiple pockets and compartments, and the longer shoulder straps that make carrying on your shoulder much easier than most satchels. The leather is divine, and the hardware gives it a bit of an edgy, downtown look.

I also have the Gerard Darel Charlotte/Drape in the tan and black and use those bags a lot as well. IMO the black one is especially chic.

Thanks! I do ahave aquite a few things in mind, but am just not sure if I'll be able to get the accounts. It's not always so easy, it seems, to get people to sell their lines to you!

I will post more later on the lines I want - I liked the Tano thanks for the tip - throw some more ideas at me! I am always looking for something new.

Libby Bee, please be sure to check this thread every now and then - I'll certainly toss in some suggestions (whether feasible or not )

How about Jas MB bags -big in Japan apparently (I first read about them on this forum). Barneys carries the bags.

http://www.barneys.com/b/browse/desi...dsnrIndex=true
Jas MB Large Slitter Bag $465

Renato Minelli - Zappos is now selling Renato Minelli bags but I first saw this on bagtrends - don't know what the quality is in real life but online the bags look great (but then you can't really trust onscreen appearances, can you?)

http://www.bagtrends.com/products/handbags/RM005.htm
Renato Minelli Bologna Saddle $299

http://www.bagtrends.com/products/handbags/RM003.htm
Renato Minelli Tote-to-Messenger $299
http://www.bagtrends.com/products/handbags/RM001.htm
Renato Minelli KC Bag $449

1st pic off barneys.com, the other three pics off bagtrends.com.
