zappos.com sometimes puts them on sale, and sometimes the real thing does pop up on eBay... just keep looking.

I got a powder pink and white one on eBay for under $100 once, and it's definitely authentic! The deals are out there if you're diligent.

There are some beautiful new scarves, but I just can't bring myself to pay the increased prices... I'm just being happy with the ones I have.

mozzersquiff on ebay sells authentic scarves... but overpriced.
the scarves appear on yoox from time to time but get sold out really quickly...
I wish the McQueen website would start selling these scarves online in the UK like it does in the USA.
I think once you get an authentic scarf, then you know what to look for on ebay and you can get a good deal on the real thing. But honestly ebay and ioffer stuff makes me a little paranoid!

I just wore my cream scarf with purple skulls three days ago. I must admit that I wear it much more in the spring (probably because I need a thicker scarf in winter). I still like mine very much.
