Burberry Prorsum Sailor Cap
Hi all...

I am hoping u can help me....i have been really wanting to buy the Burberry Prorsum Sailor Cap that i've seen Sienna Miller wearing and other people in the ad. So far, i've only seen this hat available at net-a-porter. Neiman marcus and saks both don't seem to carry it! i haven't checked the burberry stores yet so i'm not sure of their availability there...

does anyone know where i could buy one? are there additional places online?

here is the link to the net-a-porter site where it is sold out!!

http://www.net-a-porter.com/cgi-bin/...urberryprorsum

i saw a girl wearing this hat last weekend at union square in whole foods and i thought it looked great on her!

thanks for ur help!!

i've been wearing a cap like that since the early 90's...love them...
...

if you can deal with having the style without the label...
ralph lauren almost always has something like that...

additionally...
you could get a real greek sailors cap...
again...you could try RRL in nolita on mott/prince...
they have great authentic vintage pieces...

i also have a really great version from eugenia kim...
her stuff is available at barney's and she has her own store in the east village...

good luck......

but if you must have the burberry-your best bet is to call the store...
i find that the soho store has better service because they are not so crowded...
myabe they can find it and get it for you......

softgrey, thanks for your help!

i checked www.polo.com, don't see any hats really like that this season, maybe there will be more next season...

i've always loved eugenia kim's stuff but since she closed her boutique, i guess i'll have to check out barneys!

where is rrl? i don't think i'm familiar with it...do you happen to have the address?

if all else fails, i guess i'll have to try the burberry store....

u wouldn't have to have a pic of the hats u do have, do u? if u do, i would love to see them!!

oh...did eugenia kim close her store?...
too bad...you can see i haven't been in some time...

here's a pic of my eugenia kim hat...
it's pretty blurry but you get the idea...it's very similar
don't know where the other one is at the moment...
that one is felt and more like the burberry...
will try to post a pic when it turns up...
still changing over my seasonal clothes

the RRL store is on the corner of prince and mott...
across from sigerson morrison...
it opened recently...they moved from mulberry...
i haven't been in since they moved, so i can't say what exactly they have...
but the windows look beautiful..

you could also try an army surplus store....kauffman's is a good one...
it's a greek fisherman's cap....
why not just google greek fisherman's cap and see what turns up?...
i think there is also a ralph lauren store on bleecker near marc which might have different stuff from the stuff on polo.com...

anyway...what about jj hat company?...
they have every kind of hat on the planet...
they are in the garment district somewhere...in the 30's around 7 or 8 ave......
