^ I think it was *cultured pearls*, which I know makes a difference. They are not natural pearls. The bows looked metal to me, but I'm not positive.

The last two look especially fake to me, but I'd guess they're all fake.

What exactly are these flowers made of?

Whoa, that pink matches my signature so nicely!!

They're made of leather, it seems extremely complicated to make them.

Leather!? Wow...doesn't look like it at all. Are all their flowers made of leather? Aren't some made of something else?

I believe cultured pearls are like steroided fruit, it makes them bigger for less...I guess they dont consider them "Fine". Maybe the bows are lacquered, but they appear to be glass.

Some of the flowers are done in boucle, chiffon, suede, basically any material, I think for Paris-Tokyo they did a flower out of fur, not sure.

^ I just know I want some! I think I'd like some white leather camelia pins of theirs. They always keep those in stock.

If they still haven't sold this necklace by the end of the season, do you guys reckon it would go on sale, or does some things like that not go on sale at all?

And if so.. how much off?

I want it so bad.. but my money situation is rather limited this month..

I think it cost like £500-600.

my friend who did the chanel couture show a season or 2 ago said that it was SO BLING BLING
she wore a ring which was like a black box made from a stone with diamonds all around it

apparently karl is really free with diamonds, he doesnt make a fuss with security over them

I did see Chanel costume jewelry on sale at the boutique Tuesday. There was nothing as good as that though.

Are those models? They look like people but like paper mache at the same time.

Im so glad mannequins now aren't so lifelike, that'd be creepy.

They are made of wax! Its stunning really. Dolls were made of wax then too.

I think the sale was about 40% off!! I saw a bracelet at regular $500(+-) and was down to $300. It mostly really springy things, bracelets/necklace sets with enameled colorful petite flowers.. or big big CC brangle bracelet type things too.. I didn't get very good inventory since nothing much was pearl, and I want some pearls too!
