ha, there was a full size white one with diamond markers and a sapphire bezel in one of my older elle mags. i really wish i had a scanner now! now i can't get the sapphire one out of my head...though i know it's gotta be super expensive! i love blue!!!

This is my first post outside the handbag section

What do you people think of the Chanel J12? I am looking to get a new watch and don't really want to get another Rolex, if I can't find anything else I will though.

I went to Chanel Fine Jewelry tonight and saw the J12 watches:



Does anyone have this watch? Is it durable and does it still look good after everyday use? I really liked it and the SAs assured me of it's quality, but I want an unbiased opinion lol or at least less biased than that! Help! Thanks in advance

Noriko...I initially wanted the j12 in white after I fell IN LOVE with the original white watch by Harry Winston (who could afford?). However, I wasn't taken with it IRL because of the ceramic and ended up with a white cartier instead. However, I have since seen the Dior Cristale and that's nice too. Looking back, the J12 is actually nice and I'm sure I would have got used to the ceramic band. Good luck with your decision!!

hi noriko! there is another chanel j12 thread here, do a search and you'll find it. it has people who own it and their pics and people who want it like myself

i've tried it on in person and it's beautiful, pics don't do the ceramic justice

That was another one I was considering! but it didn't look as good as the J12 on me The sapphire crystal on the band is beautiful though!

noriko, I have a J12, a regular one without diamonds/stones. I IT!!!! The ceramic is actually what I love about it, it's durable, anti-scratches, AND it's unique! I have it in white coz I think the white one is cuter. And the black one shows fingerprints. It is also quite easy to match with my wardrobe!

Anyways, j12 is like my favorite watch!!!

i don't have pics, unfortunately as i tried once and it didn't come out too well. it's the louis tank cartier in yellow gold and brown croc strap.

have you seen the roadster watches? i mean, i saw the women's and men's version today and it nearly made me forget about the J12 they are beautiful. i love cartier

hehe yeah I checked out the Cartier watches today. Still kind of stuck on the J12. I also saw this white Harry Winston that was beautiful as well, but the J12 is still my first choice. I just want to be absolutely sure before I get something. This will probably be my last watch before I get the pearlmaster, which will most likely be around graduation time next year
