Curious my favourites are the last two ones. The one with the four rows of diamonds is just breathtaking and it's kind of unusual. Most women tend to go with the big rock in the middle (which is also beautiful), but it's nice to see a ring a bit different but stunning

also anastasia I love your ring, you made a great choice. I love white gold, it's so much nicer than silver or gold.

None of the rings have inscriptions because as my sweetie said: there's only ever going to be the two of us..
no new husband in the future..so there's no need for an inscription to remind you who gave you the rings

The diamond isn't huge, I dislike too much flashy bling bling..I'm not doing an Elizabeth Taylor.
My husband was very against giving me a diamond engagement ring due to ethical reasons (conflict diamonds..)
but he knew I wanted one so he went against his believes and bought me it
It's a round cut, great clearity , 0,25 carat
The diamond setting is quiet unusual, a bended round edged band is holding it in place -so no snatching on any garments.

argh..I think I need to post a pic..a picture would be so much easier.
I have real issues with diamonds for that reason too ... just starting this thread so hopefully everything I'm about to mention hasn't already been said But Australian champagne diamonds don't go through deBeers, and Canadian diamonds don't either. There's also the possibility of buying a vintage stone. Based on their past and present "business" practices, I find DeBeers to be pure evil, and refuse to spend my money (or allow anyone else to spend theirs for me) with them.

Sounds lovely, POC--so personal. I love that the royal family had several wedding rings made from the same nugget of Welsh gold. Not that it brought them much luck mind you

You're the first to mention rose gold on this thread--my favorite I have been seeing a lot of nice princess & emerald cut diamonds on people lately, but on this thread, my favorites have been the cushion cut (& similar) rimmed with diamonds. I really like the ones with diamonds everywhere, all the way around the band, even covering the prongs

The royal gold that they use is called Clogau gold, it is actually really popular on QVC both in the UK and USA.
It is also about double the price of normal gold. I think this is due to the fact that it is Welsh gold

Just bought this book called "500 Wedding Bands" - and there is so many amazing rings - Some are more artistic and conceptual rather than for actual wear. I'm posting a dozen of my faves - but if people like - I am happy to post more.

All scanned by me.
