those white gloves with the black stripes are wonderful.

I really have a passion for elegant long gloves, preferably vintage.

It's a pity you don't see that many people wearing them here (midlands uk)

Cheers.

This pair is one of my favorites, from my collection.

A 22", black nylon gloves with a metallic embroiderd design. Size 6 1/2.

Also I have a weakness for long suede gloves (I just love suede) I have around 10 pairs of long suede gloves, all vintage.

Imnangel, I LOVE that last pair of gloves you posted - the colorful, retro, 60s style... who makes them?!

OK, on another glove-love note, I'm suddenly craving short, black lace wristlet gloves... what do we think? I imagine it for going out - with a great mini-dress, or maybe a Victorian-esque outfit... button up cream top, black skirt, cumberband belt, and the lace gloves. Do we like? And where in the world would I be able to find them? Anyone have any ideas?

^Lovely.

I love those striped ones, too!

I'm looking for some fingerless gloves for this winter. It's already freezing in most of my classes (old buildings) and in my dormroom, but I can't really wear real glover because I need my fingers free to write and type. I like the knitted ones that have finger openings and a mitten flap, although gloves without the mitten flap would be more practical for class. I'm sure I've seen cute gloves like this, but I have no idea where and I can't find any. Someone here posted a fingerless glove website, but none of them were quite what I'm looking for (no finger spaces, just one hole, and not very warm-looking).

I would prefer to buy a pair online since I don't have a car. Does anyone have any ideas?

Eloes, it sounds like what you're looking for are pretty much gloves, with the tops of the fingers cut off, and preferably made of a thicker, wooly material. I've got two pairs of those - one pair I got in Paris, from a Puma outlet store. Really warm, knitted, comfy. I think most of the Puma stores anywhere carry them. I got a second pair just today, from H & M. It's got the 5 finger holes and made of wool, so it's pretty warm. I just use those to walk around in, and whenever my fingers get at all cold, I stick em in my coat pocket to warm them up - so I think that's perfect for you. As for getting them online, Im pretty sure you can find it anywhere - google wool, fingerless gloves.... ebay it, or check out H & M online. Even Topshop online - they've got great stuff. Hope this helps!

Gosh, I wish I could actually afford these gloves! They're gorgeous, especially the Miu Mius, but they're ridiculously expensive, I'm sure!
