oo! do you have a pic of the beret that you can post?
If I did I would have posted one

I have to go to my friend's house and search through their albums, and scan one

You can probably find something cool at a thrift shop. Most of my hats that I didn't personally make I bought secondhand. I have two awesome vintage Stetson tweed hats, a couple of those dinky little 1950s beanies with flowers and veils, and an awesome 1940s ladies' velour Homburg with colored feathers in the hatband. The most I ever paid for a hat was $20 for that 1940s hat. Since hardly anyone ever wears hats anymore, they tend to be very affordable at thrift and vintage shops.

Cheers guys - thanks for the suggestions and Hboogie for the designs. Burger King - I'd have to eat there to get the hat but could prob stretch to making a paper crown myself.

Am liking the beret idea Ale

Komupsumnida - thanks in Korea

Not satisfied with shoes and handbags, I'm trying my hand at hats...these are all inspired by a sunny afternoon on Brighton beach! I think I got a bit carried away drawing those pebbles!!

I love hats, do you guys where hats for just formal occassions or for casual days too?

those are just gorgeous, craig, (and the artwork !) especially the last one. :grrr: I love hats - my mum has always collected them, though they generally only come out for formal occassions.
