I love this trend. I just posted a pic of Aubrey O'Day in the hairbands thread last night. I wore one today but it was a satin knotted hairband. Kind of like what the Olsens used to sport a couple summers ago.

See Arden Wohl was the first one who I really saw sporting the hairbands, and who knows: it could be the next chunky plastic headband in terms of huge hair accessory trend.

with my new short hair ive been wearing this style more and more as theres not alot i can do with my hair.. its a great way to accesorise w hen u dont have much hair haha

I got a lace headband from anthropologie that I wore a few times like this...I thought I looked like a dork but a few people I know told me it look cool. I don't know... If I ever want a headband like that, I'll just make a daisychain and put it around my head, that's cooler anyways.

i actually like these "hippie" headbands, but what i'm afraid of is that soon it will become a ubiquitous trend with the youth & just become tacky. This is one of those trends where very few can do, but many will dare to.

I like the narrow bands, they are cute. I look SO much like a hippie (straight out of 1969) when I wear a headband. I have an embarassing pic somewhere. Not sure that I'm up for posting

I don't dislike headbands worn that way.
Ashley Olsen pulls it off very well, IMO.
Mischa Barton on the other hands looks very costume it in.
Not a good look when done to the nines.

i think it looks great on some people. too bad it doesn't work so well on me. every time i tried to put it on my head, it tends to slip right off. or when i do the wrap around with a scarf, it just looks so funny on me.
