I wouldn't mess with rep scarves either.. plus it's much better to just get a cashmere non brand scarf (pashmina) than getting a fakey fake LV pashmina..

I ordered a J12 black ceramic watch from Catty a few months back. When it came it looked great and all the markings and back of the watch looked accurate. When I tried to reset the time on the watch, the dial would not budge. I tried to turn it, my husband tried, the mailman tried but it wasn't going anywhere.

I emailed Catty to ask if there was some trick to it. She emailed back saying that the watch was perfect, she inspected it herself and to try again. This annoyed me but I did and it still didn't work. After that she stopped answering my email.

Finally, over Xmas, I took the watch to a jeweler. He inspected it, took out the dial and told me that the inner workings were jagged and that that was the reason the dial kept getting stuck. He filed it down as much as he could but told me that it would probably always stick a little. It was a $15 fix.

About a month later the face got scratched. After that the black "bead" at the end of the dial popped off. I don't wear it anymore, I just went back to my real Movado. Suddenly, I wasn't sick of it anymore.

Also, do not order sunglasses from Catty. I sent her pics of two pairs (for this same order) and asked if she carried them. For glasses, I wasn't even concerned with them being branded replicas, I just wanted a certain shape. When the glasses came they looked NOTHING like the ones in the pics. I always joke that a monocle on a chain would have looked more like what I wanted. They weren't the same color or shape and to make it insulting they had big ugly EA logos on them. Catty had nothing to say about this either. I never ordered from her again.

Also, the black J-12 with the plain face that I ordered was $80 and the one with "diamonds" was the same price. Please someone tell me she is not now charging $200 for it.

ETA: The white line and numbers on the dial also look like they are fading.

I tried placing an order with perfect clones yesterday and no matter how many times I tried it WOULD not work.

I tried again today and still, I keep getting errors.

I'm going to be off watches for now until I see pics and then see what I can do about it. (thing is JOSH only accepts western union/moneygram other than CC and I prefer CC KWIM?)

yeah i'd be afraid of ordering a j12. mine was supposedly "ceramic" but it was just ceramic coated. first wear, i scratched it accidentally and it left a very visible mark in the strap. this is within the week of receiving it as a present. ugh.

with replicas, i'll stay within the range of bags and wallets, and maybe some jewelry.

Catty has different grades of watches. I don't know about a watch for $80 but her cheapest Chanel J 12 was $60 and it is just painted steel. Her higher grade watch replicas are $150 and are pretty much equivalent to the $130 ones from Jacky which I think are ceramic on steel rather than ceramic/ceramic. She also claims to have even higher grade ones -- but as Quizvan wisely points out, why not just get a watch from a specialist when one is paying that amount.

As to sunglasses, I have gotten some really nice ones from her. I have also gotten wrong stuff on items like sunglasses, t-shirts and even an occasional bag.

In the end, it has worked out for me.

ETA -- I think it should be kept in mind that Catty is a wholesaler and is assuming that people are reselling. Small items are difficult to keep up with and how much profit is there on a pair of sunglasses?

well, supposedly JOSH's is the twice fired ceramic..
the real one is triple fired and you can get that version for 900+ but I'm not sure I want to spend THAT much on a rep watch, even if the auth's price is 7x more. I was talking to hubby last night about all this new rep watch obsession I have and I actually convinced him of why I NEED a rep rolex. (pretty much the argument went like this. Why would I want to buy a REAL rolex if I'm never going to be 100% it's real? I might as well save myself tons of money and buy a rep and know I'm having a good rep )

That's weird. At the time I asked her for her nicest replica and she assured me that it was the $80 she sold me. I'm glad it worked out for you but I wouldn't order from her again. Her customer service on my order was awful. Also, I'd ordered from her many times in the past and she knew that I wasn't a reseller.
