The Keffieh seems to be the last fashion in LA parties. Many famous people wear it actually : Johnny Depp, Kele Okereke from Bloc Party, Pete Doherty from the Babyshambles and many nice people from the Cobrasnake :

At the begin, it is just a scarf worn by people who lived in the north of Africa to protect themselves from sun.
