I love, love, love that necklace but I agree... I would NEVER spend that much for faux pearls. I actually planned on making one just like it since I do make jewelry but havent got around to doing it yet.

I have a couple pictures of it. How close up do you want the picture? LOL
Heres one of Liv wearing it REALLY CLOSE UP. I think she has it wrapped around & tied in the front.

* EDIT Tiff, I added the image as an attachment, I hope you don't mind

That is a LOT of money for faux pearls. I bet you could even buy real tahitan pearls for that price.

I think the pearls are beautiful and feminine. I would definately wear them if I could get my hands on a string

lovely!
but what bothers me is how LANVIN is going up in prices just through some good media and PR

anyway, i guess they were gonna be in the limelight sooner or later

how would you go about doing that? would have to make a tube of tulle, then knot in between each pearl?

I'm not entirely sure. I will have to experiment with it when i get home. However, I have an idea of how I could do it I'm just not sure I could explain it and even if I could explain it, if it would work
Will give everyone an update when I get home

ETA: After looking at the pic closer I think the way I was planning on doing it might work. It's to take a long skinny (as in narrow) piece of tulle, knot it at one end to create the ties and then go and individually wrap it around each pearl and then continue on down the line and knot at the other end. When the tulle is so narrow like that it should create a problem between each pearl. Does that make sense?
