mended veil jewelry
bio from aloharag.com

Quote:
Mended Veil: Mended Veil's jewelry could be seen in upscale boutiques such as Barney's. The motif of the jewelry is diverse including skulls, animal heads, and crystals. They have designed their necklaces under the title "Bad Luck Charm", created from objects with negative connotations. "Earth Street Trash" has bracelets designed from objects such as gum, tabs of a soda cans, and cigarette buds. The brand is known for being full of jokes and with a sense of humor that cannot be found anywhere else on the planet. Their recent collection includes the "Kitchen Panic" which uses kitchen utilities as motifs.
They have created jewelry inspired from such objects as ladles, and kitchen sink filters, making this a very appropriate creation by Mended Veil.

The mirror bracelet looks interesting, but the other doesn't.

I like the bracelet but not sure if it would annoy me after a while.

The top left is from the Carnival collection, and is meant to resemble old-fashioned candies, though I'm pretty sure one is a chewed-up wad of gum.

Moving clockwise through the aloharag selections: a skeleton with a mirror body (from the Bad Luck Charms collection, I think), an onyx and marble(?) 'fang' necklace, giant crystals necklace (again, meant to impart Bad Luck), a necklace made from salt shaker lids (I think; it's from the Kitchen Panic line), medieval weapons, an upside-down '', a melted fork ring (Carnival, not Kitchen Panic ), a Bad Luck necklace meant to resemble the planets (notice the closeness of some and distance of others) and a butterfly with an endoskeleton.

And two of the four Hejfina ones are the eeriest skull renderings I've seen, while the others are a set of slightly different onyx fangs and a snake, biting into a crystal. (The cracks were visible in the close-up shots...)

^ You might try contacting the store, but almost all the items I posted are from past collections and are no longer available...

new collection
just saw that their SS 07 collection arrived.
Bit to sweet for my taste (apart from the fish skeleton), but I thought you might enjoy it.
