The color of the lipstick should be very close to the natural color of the lips. Here is a very good example of the natural look on Juliette Binoche.

Well, aside from the immediate stereotype of the beret popping into my head as someone else said, I can pull from some of my French female co-workers who always look chic when they attend a meeting here in the states.

Diamond stud earrings
Silk scarves (one woman always wears Hermes scarves, and they are stunning)
A great classic handbag

One woman who works in our Selestat office always wears beautiful combs in her hair. She just lets her dark brown hair flow naturally (it doesn't even look like she uses product) and places a comb. I cannot concentrate when I have meetings with her because she looks so amazing.

Hermes has a downloadable scarf tying guide. I LOVE my silk scarves! And my collection is growing. I still don't own a Hermes yet (but I'm going to the store soon) but I try to buy the same 90X90cm size so I can do the same techniques with them.

^ I am glad. I use it all the time because I am obsessed with scarves. I even tie them in my hair and put them on my purses.
