i love those type of see through brollies but i dont like the burberry trim! you can get similar ones with different colours on the bottom and are most likely much much cheaper

You can get ones from fulton with just white/black/red trim...much less commercial and they're only about 15 pounds in the UK...I don't like the burberry trim.

IMHO it's not worth it. You can get a much better-looking umbrella for that kind of money....

NO it's not worth the money. You can get a similar one with Frank Lloyd Wring design from MOMA with 10 times cheaper price.

Hey, you like it, it'll last "forever" with repairs you can get done thru the store ... why not? I started buying Burberry a number of years before it was "cool" (or commercial, whatever ya wanna call it ) and I still have every umbrella I've ever bought. I mentioned on another thread that when I took two of them in for repair, the display guy tried very hard to trade me new ones for them.

With your average brand, an umbrella is a disposable item. With Burberry that's not the case. (My trench is still going strong after almost 20 years too. No one but me--Burberry experts aside--can tell it's not new.)

Since you have your heart set (I think) on a vinyl one, since it's a petroleum product the earth mother in me would like to see it last as long as possible

It's as ugly as Satan's black heart of sin. Sorry.

I think this umbrella is disgusting and the beige, red, Burberry is going out of fashion now, it's too "CHAV" which makes it look tacky and common . I wouldn't spend your money on that when you can get something much nicer . You could even buy the pink burberry fold up brolly which is about €70. AND it's much cheaper and looks nicer.

I love the shape/handle and clear part but the burberry trim is just too much, and not worth 300 AUD. If you reeally want the burberry just get a fake one, they're very common and cheap so you won't have to worry about losing it.
