tata~ nice perspective on the feng shui!!!

the past year and a half, i've had my bedroom all in calming seagreen and beige and blues...i was in school, finishing up my degree and stressed all the time. i saw it as a calming area to come home to.

but now that i graduated and finally have goten my body over the early waking times, anxiousness of going to class everyday and whatnot, im changing my colors to deep deep red and saffron yellow. Im pursueing new jobs now, and i think the color change has kinda given me more energy. I respond to the colors differently and i love it!

^ Isn't it interesting how we use color for support ... I have shots of red in my bedroom too (generally considered a no-no, but I love it). When I moved in it was painted blue, which was just a killer, so ugly. So important to get bedrooms right quickly, I think ...

One thing I've noticed is that I use jade green as an accent color throughout my house, but I don't like to wear green at all ... I always have to say my underwear is green on St Patricks Day Other than that, though, the colors I decorate with and the colors I wear have a lot in common. My living room is purple (well, not the walls, they're "lambswool," which is taupe), and I like to read there ... it's a great contemplative, spiritual color. And a color I like to wear as well ...

it's funny you bringing up astrology - i blogged about that possible link with style yesterday.
i'm a gemini.

so right now, with the exception of a pair of corduroys and a pair of boots, my wardrobe is bursting full, both seasons (or i guess i should say all 4) totally complete. i feel like i have way way too much stuff in fact.
in the past few months, i acquired... 2 new summer tops, 1 pair of summer pants (all back in sept. when it was still warm), possibly a new blazer (ordered but have not received confirmation that it is in stock); 1 fall jacket, 1 pair of cords, 2 new pairs of shoes, 1 fall dress. that's 4 new for spring/summer and 4 for fall/winter (the shoes are sort of 3 season shoes i think). but that's not counting the dresses i bought at the beginning of the summer - though considering that those were part of a larger wardrobe overhaul, maybe they don't count.

anyway, i feel very very done. super done. over done. someone please, take away my credit cards.

Jeans: Grey distressed Cheap Mondays (slightly baggy), black Cheap Mondays(slightly baggy), blue april 77's (skintight), black ksubi's (skinny). All tapered + waiting on these by Acne
it sounds like a really coherent and tight wardrobe.

ta-ta, you are a total gold-mine of interesting information.
i am much more aware of how color affects me than i used to be.
and yes, i finally painted my white walls, and it is such a relief. i love the sound of your living room, jun3. maybe because i am also a fire sign....?

with clothes, i love blue... all shades... but there is a crispness to black that i really love. but if i wear it too much i think it kind of drags me down. hmmm... i am going to have to pay attention to this and experiment!

What a nice thing to say, maiden

Try the shot of red to temper the black Red lipstick never hurt anyone either

I think there is a link between astrology and approach to fashion ... I'll have to go check out your blog, hiheels

you would think, right? although i guess i more directly asked if our own signs at all applied to our wardrobes - so not exactly how we shop, but rather what we acquire.

if i could change one thing about me, it would be that i get better about remembering to put on the darn lipstick!

I just read your blog, HiHeels and I find the topic really interesting but I don't really know how to translate this:
leo: generous, creative, enthusiastic, broad-minded, faithful, dogmatic, patronizing
into (my) wardrobe habits.

Could anyone help me understand? That would be very kind
