I love skirts cut up to there (and you know which there I'm talking about,) but am wise enough to know that any attempt to wear would only result in my uncomfortably wiggling around and tugging it lower.
oh I definitely agree about the veils. I have a couple of veiled hats and headpeaces, and I adore them but I haven't ever had the courage to wear them.
also tulle petticoats...some of the elegant gothic lolita stuff basically...I adore it, but I'm not sure I'd have the courage to wear it myself.
Ok, confession time. Since I met my wife, I've become much more daring with what I wear. I know it's self-conscious on my part, and even silly, but I used to wear clothes that is more acceptable (even though it was never ordinary) because I did not want to seem narcissistic to the women I meet and I did not want to look "gay" (i know it's retarded). So, there! See kids, even Faust can be self-conscious
P.S. It might also have to do with maturing, but I'm not sure. Maybe it's both...
