i have a lot of band shirts. i usually buy one at every concert / show i go to if i really like the band.

my favorites include a tool hooded sweatshirt, a smashing pumpkins "friends and enemies of modern music" shirt, and a concert tee from "summersault 2000" where i saw a perfect circle, smashing pumpkins, foo fighters, our lady peace, and the catherine wheel in the same day (best day ever).

although, with the bands i like, it's hard to find shirts in a size small. in high school during my "goth" period, i would wear band tee's in a size xl, even though i was probably the closest to a small i ever was.

the best band tee is a cradle of filth shirt i bought for my girlfriend. its a skinny black tee with "filth" written in large white block letters across the chest.

can I ask you what the design/art is of the beatles? the best beatles shirts are from the 60s & 70s & Ive only seen a few examples.
as i said my best beatles is the 'rock & roll music' promo tee from 1976.

I wore my joy division 'unknown pleasures' today its the original version from the early 80s. sadly JD tees are too popular/cliche right now but I do have a wider collection of new order tees incl:
low life logo on white
low life logo on black [both 1985]
1989 barcode
procession 1981 blue on grey
ceremony on green

much as i like & own the VU banana tee it also is too common. Instead I have a naughty NY Dolls tee from late 70s with a girl in a dress bending over from behind.
and I have a lou reed Berlin tee that is mid-to-late 70s I think that's fairly rare too.

I used to have loads from my high school years, and I still wear a few of them, though rarely in public. My favorite's my Jesus Lizard t-shirt...maybe I'll take a pic when I'm feeling like less of a lazy cow...

I'll admit it, I have the Urban Outfitters Ramones shirt in hot pink. I did, however, buy it because I like the band's music. I saw Marky Ramone play at the Rock n Roll Hall of fame with his new band (I did NOT wear the shirt to the show like every-freakin-body else did).

Anyways, moving on...I have a Third Eye Blind shirt I LOVE, a Ben Folds "Sham On", and a Blink 182 shirt (all from shows i went to!)

I also have a Nirvana shirt that a boy in high school made for me in his graphics class.

I don't wear band t-shirts, but have a few from some gigs I have been too more for sentimental value.

I am considering buying a hooded sweat from the Cat Empire's website.

i misinterpreted the topic. I wear "band" shirts. I'm in the marching band. We trade shirts with other marching bands. I wear actual band shirts but I've pretty much stored the rest except my NPG shirt (love Prince) and my Phishirt (memories).

The amount of people who have the velvet underground tee cos they are really that obsessed with mary kate olsen (who has one) they dont even realise its a band, one even said to me "dont be a dumbd a$$ its a andy warhol tee shirt not a band tee " then i just replied with yeah he designed the cover for their cd ... now whos the dumb a$$. Its rediculas it really is.
