Hi guys!

I'm plus size but I really wanna wear skinny jeans. However, I kind of notice it only looks good on longish tops? I actually adore the look, but I also wanna try empire waist tops but I'm afraid I look pregnant in it (btw I am not ). Do I look too pregnant in this?

">

Suggestions on what to wear with my skinny jeans?

Thanks

Thank you, but i don't have any plain bag i could put it on. I was thinking about a plain shirt or a skirt.

^ Thanks! I have another one, black double ribbon, the upper smaller ribbon is black and the bigger one under is white with black dots.. That's easier to use..

I have a party coming up, the dress code is "dress to impress" and I am having some difficulty deciding what to wear. I've got two potential outfits lined up (pics as soon as my camera battery recharges):

OUTFIT A:
black tulle skirt shot with gold threads
silky black singlet like top with straps that cross over and form a keyhole in front
gold bling
dirty gold strappy stilettoes and gold purse

OUTFIT B
purple slip with chiffon ruffle at the bottom, barely visible under
black chiffon deep V neck dress, has butterfly sleeves, and a black ruffle which is just above the purple ruffle of the slip
purple silky long ribbon tied around waist, bow at side
silver hummingbird necklace
silver earings/rings/watch
black/silver peeptoes with ankle strap

I hope that isnt too vague/strange a description . Which one should I pick, or should i scrap it and find another outfit

I like "OUTFIT A." It seems simple but the gold "bling" I think will make it "dress to impress."

Do you have pictures?

Antigone, I think you look fine! Those jeans aren't terribly skinny-legged, more straight leg. They look nice. Try wearing tops that are sightly loose and long with a belt around the hips or long wooly cardies - I think the key is length. You could funk it up with boots over the top also, if you like that look.

okay, i would like for you guys to evaluate this potential fall outfit...

the look i'm going for is the "lots of layering" look (like Marc Jacobs did, but wearable). i was wondering about the black cardigan i tied over my waist-should i lose it?replace it with a black belt?does it look akward?

...also, i would probably replace the red boots with short, black buckle boots that i am planning on buying.

orange tank
chunky blue cropped cardi.
brown skirt
black cardigan tied over waist
black tights
red boots (to be replaced with black buckle boots)

em 692, the black cardi looks to be more at the level of you hips than the waist, maybe you try how it looks a bit higher? or you try a belt istead, also a bit higher? I don`t think that would destroy the layered look...

the black boots sound good!

Thanks so much. I'll try your suggestions.
