I saw it in Lucky. It's going to be $28.00.

Sorry for the white specks. I marked it with those stickies.

LOL! I totally use those stickers... Lucky by far is one of my fave mags... and I LOVE that blazer...

Anyway, my must haves for this year (very rarely brand specific)

* A pair of round toed shoes
* A red cardigan
* A large tote
* A big silver ring and pendant

Plus I love this coat! My must have coat!

Dries Van Noten

oh the adorable Dries coats, love the ones with the tresses -two vintage-y print combinations- but i cannot possibly afford a dries coat

( are you designing your own clothes line igni?? i had no idea.. tell us more ) [/b][/quote]
How much is that Dries coat? Is it really that expensive? I want one!

Yes I design my own clothes but unfortunately I don't have a webcam or scanner so I can't post my sketches! Probably when I get one!

I'm still a strugling desinger so I don't really have an identity yet still trying to find out what I'm good at and what style my clothes fit in! Some items from my 'Fall '03' collection: a gorgeous long silk and wool 'cut-out' coat in white with blue 'heart' details and an 'Afloat' mini-dress in white with strong-light thin layers.

Sean and Belowen knows this already!

Here's what I'm thinking so far:

Viktor and Rolf wool jersey crew neck top in a taupey-sand color
Doori halter top
Costume National black skinny trousers
some tees from C&C California for layering
Habitual trouser jeans
Martin Margiela grey wool cardigan
black and white striped Paul Smith sweater
hideously bright socks (even patterned pairs)
black tights

I'm thinking Dior Homme wool flat-front trousers instead of DVN.

i'll be getting use of my white patent mod vintage gogo boots
perfect for the fall. that will most likely be my only 'hot of the moment trendy ' piece i will be wearing. stephen sprouse is my big insperation at the moment. i like all of his pop art-mod-sreet style-mixing- s/s '98 is looking perfect right now. i posted pictures in the 'courreges' thread.

other than that i may try tweed

welcome to tfs

I'm going to be doing the ladylike thing. that is my major inspiration for the fall. I won 20 pairs of vintage gloves in an auction, so I will definitely be making use of them, especially my pairs of black leather elbow-length gloves and ruched turqoise elbow gloves. also my vintage fake-croc metal latch handbag and various old clutches. though I'll probably be pairing these things with scaled down outfits, like shrunken sweatshirts and cashmere turtlenecks with trousers.
I'll also be taking inspiration from the menswear trends, with katharine hepburn-esque wide-leg cuffed trousers, fitted button-down shirts, sweater vests, etc. I've also got my eye on a black double-breasted belted trench coat.
