I like to get inspiration from nature sometimes ... once I chose the colors for a website based on the center of a magnolia blossom after the petals had dropped. I remember two of the colors were a lovely pale green, and eggplant purple.

gius, right on!. I love looking at interior decor for color/pattern inspiration.
curtains, teapots + wallpaper are great sources of inspiration for pattern mixing + matching [Vogue Living . !

]. I remember seeing someone mix striped wallpaper [v. thin butter + white verticals] w/floral curtains & thought . . 'that looks beautiful!'

^ Purple is a very spiritual color ... I remember having a very interesting conversation with a furniture delivery guy about the purple color scheme in my living room

wiw, the purple wallcolour in the 1st is gorgeous . !
I once considered painting 1 of my bedroom walls a deep eggplant & leaving the other 3 bare white.
. . instead I opted for neon green paint on all 4.

no regrets though!.

hunter green + navy + pale blue + chocolate.

definetly one of my top 5 colour combinations.
he looks positively dreamy.
