saw a girl on a bike wearing dusty coral (mind you.. not peach, not faded orange or tangerine ..but coral ) and grey - such a pretty combo..

^ Mmm, that does sound nice ... I wore coral/grey this past week, but it was a bright coral ...

burberry often uses it.. christopher did one season with summer colours.. reminds me of walking through fields of wheat and bulrushes it's a romantic bygone era movie. and nowadays he seems to just stick to colder jewel tones. winter all-year-round. this collection probably has better examples

Ever since Isaac Mizrahi said he loved it,

I fell in love with light grey and yellow.

^ Well, yeah it's true, going for black and mix it with something is always a safe way. But I think there's not one day I leave the house without something black.
I really like the combination of black and a deep tone of blue, or -as you mentioned- black and red. But not a flashy, more wine-red.

Today, while taking a pee, I notice that a soft pink (underwear) and a navy blue (pants) go well together. It's very classic looking.

haha^

i found one in the bathroom too.
last night

the bathtub was white. the shower (handheld kind) was white with a pearl criss-cross pattern. steel faucet and ring on the shower.
on pouring my cold bath i noticed that, when the tub reached full, the tub as well as the shower had turned a minty green... that and the different shades of the same mint in the water, and in the pearl with the steel faucet and shower ring.. while looking at the rest of everything not immersed in water still in white pretty pretty i thought i did i did

but i don't know why it turned green of all things.

I actually got an idea for an color combination from looking at an egg and the colors of it's container. That would be a lot of colors for one outfit though.

I often wear eggplant with dark teal or cobalt blue. Or eggplant with almost anything really.
Another one that I think looks great is turquoise and red.
I love color - infact I hardly own any black, which seems to be a rarity on TFS
