How to look taller?

I'm about 5'3", and I have a petite body like Eva Longoria's (did I spell that correctly?), and I hate getting all the "cute" comments. You see all the tall, "sexy" girls, how do you give that illusion? How do you have the illusion of being taller with fashion? Mainly, I just live in high heels

cropped jkts and tops...
empire waist dresses and tops...aka - babydoll...

***these give the illusion that you have longer legs and make your body seem longer...

...
just a little tip from your friendly neighborhood stylist...

A pointed toe heel also give the illusion of a longer leg.

Wearing your size in clothing, wearing heels, and tiptoeing while your picture is being taken are the basics.

Going monochrome is always a quick & easy trick too. You can keep it interesting by playing with textures & tones

Try not to wear anything that swamps your body. So keep things fairly fitted. For instance, long coats might not be such a good idea.

..yeah I agree..fitted clothing in the appropriate size will do a lot in the appearance of appearing 'taller' certain shoes or even boots ..pointed toed-heel boots will add to the appearance.

But more importantly the confidence is what you need to carry it all off.

I agree. also a high waisted floor length a-line skirt makes you look miles long, especially worn with heels.
