my first piece of 'art' was a print from a school field trip in elementary school to the metropolitan museum of art...it was one of these...

^ runner, i was in the moment of looking for a pic from that movie for this thread. what a bombardment of inspiration that movie was for me. i actually went through my closet and created about 10 new outfits from stuff i already had after watching it!
my inspirations include art "the scream" (i saw this first when i was a wee girl and was mesmerized by it) , my favorite movies such as "dolls", "le cite des enfants perdu", the matrix, my fav bands including garbage, l'arc~en~ciel, plastic tree, great editorials, and material patterns, makeup, etc~ |

Music-wise, I find both Alison Goldfrapp and Bjork inspiring... (attached pics) I was obsessed with Dali, back in the day (maybe I still am, don't like to say  ). And there's a 'library' here for Oriental Art, certain parts of which I will never get tired of.  |
