Hi All,

Just wondering how many of you like to show off your legs in short skirts, shorts etc. and how many like to keep them firmly covered up in trousers? Does it depend on your mood, how cold the weather is etc. I love getting my legs out. I work hard to keep them in shape and I'd like others to see that!

I'm rather proud of my legs--I'm an avid cyclist and have a lot of years of dancing behind me and had a lucky draw from the genetic grab-bag. My mom is 53 and still has marvelous legs. Lucky for me, I took after her in the leg department.

They're not skinny legs, as are in fashion right now, but they are very muscular and shapely, and I have never had cellulite, so that's something at least.

I have a better picture someplace, but my scanner is broken so I can't post it. I look like a chick from an R. Crumb drawing because of foreshortening (I was sitting on a boat deck with my feet up on the rail, and my husband took the picture while crouching down, about 3' ahead of me. It is hilarious.

I made this skirt out of pleather scraps from a cosplay outfit I did for a friend's daughter.

Whether or not I show my legs much does have a lot to do with my mood and what the weather is like. If it is cold, no way am I wearing a skirt, or if I do wear a skirt, it will be long, with sweater-tights underneath of it. Also, some times I just don't feel like dealing with the attention that any sort of physical display brings. I mean, I'm not a hottie type. You can see above. Totally average in the looks department, but some guys, they see a bit of skin, decent proportions, what-have-you, and they have to hoot and holler and pass commentary. If I'm feeling feisty, I may say something sarcastic back, if I am feeling pissy, I will toss off a hostile glare in their general direction (and if it is a drive-by harrassing, I *will* flip the bird). A lot of times, however, it just wears me out, so I don't even bother. Also, a lot of guys think you are available or trying to pull when you show a little leg, and I am married, and even when I was single, I wasn't one of those Bridget Jones types who are constantly on the pull.

So yeah, if the weather is nice, and I am feeling tough and confident, I will show a little (or a lot) leg, but I'm not like Paris Hilton, running around with my *** hanging out 24 hours a day.

I like my legs and wear short skirts but it annoys me when I'm out during the day and stupid men with their one track minds start wolf whistling at me. I find I have to cover myself up or else run the risk of this happening. I wear short skirts because I like wearing them. Life can be a bit cruel to women sometimes.

i can't wear knee length skirts because the bottom part of my legs look crooked so, if i wear a skirt, it has to be pretty short, that way my legs look pretty okay.
i like short skirts, but not to school. i find that realllly uncomfortable

my legs aren't too bad...rather toned from avid running in the warmer months...I looooove wearing skirts, but not TOO short. (I have a Britney Spears type figure, so it's hard to wear short skirst and not look stalky or thick).

I'm a chest girl. I love wearing low-cut tops more than anything.

I wear skirts most of the times, actually I almost never wear pants.
most of my skirts are about knee length, I do occasionally wear minis, but not really to show off the legs :P

My legs are not a bad shape, but I have scars on my knees from surgery in my teens, which I am very self-concious of.
If I wear short skirts, I always wear them with opaque tights, but mostly I wear jeans or trousers.

I usually wear jeans & pants, but during the summer I'm usually in shorts/skirts
- sometimes I like wearing skirts, but at other times I just think my legs are too stick-like, it's looks almost wrong :P

I show them now, they aren't a fine wine and won't improve with age.

I actually wore those today...my pockets don't show that much, but I love that miniskirt. I must buy a second one.
