Pants for men with muscular legs

I'm actually looking for advice on this and couldn't think of a better place to ask than here. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this dilemma!

So... I've been doing a bit of shopping online recently but I'm afraid to buy pants online because I don't really know the terms for the kind of pants that fit me. I've got a fairly small waist but very muscular legs, particularly the thighs. When I try on pants or jeans, I find a lot of them will either be fine in the waist but ridiculously tight in the thigh, or they'll be comfortable in the leg but too baggy in the waist.

What should I be looking for? What sort of cut of pants/jeans should I be avoiding?

Some brands offer fuller cut legs, which is what you need. Sometimes they label them as "athletic build" or full cut. Avoid "slim cut".

But, if you can't find those ... you should find a very good tailor. You will buy the pants to fit your thighs, then have the waistline taken in. That will insure a prefect fit, every time.
