shorts, yes! ..last summer i wore city shorts but this summer i think i will add some with a more slouchy feel. i just got some which are knee-long and beige. they fit pretty much like men's shorts and have pleats on the front .. i think it'd look awesome with an oversized t, flat sandals .. i'm also thinking more dresses and less skirts. i'd love more dresses with pockets in my wardrobe.
the colors that i will be wearing mostly i think will be more neutral ones .. white, cream, light grey. but also purple, pink and yellow will be tossed into the mix. i think i'm going to be big on stripes + polka dots this summer as well. i really haven't seen many printed things i like.
going to use my flat sandals from last summer though i'd like some new ones as well. btw, they're going to be golden, but i suppose that is nothing new. i still love my moccasins and ballet flats.
accesories-wise i'm going to be carrying large leather bags and i'll still be using hairbands i'm going to tone down with the necklaces though. i have a long thin gold chain that i think i'll be wearing with all sort of charms, etc i think i've grown tired of the more chunky necklaces.
Headbands and SHORTS! Some slouchy shorts though as Mettchen mentioned. Hopefully paired with some open toe flats or gladiator sandals!
Mettchen, you're spot on with the large leather bag.. I need to find one! Something so summer chic to me - a perfect bag filled with sunglasses, chapstick, sunscreen, and summer reading
And for spring- I would like a patterened umbrella and a light trench (i don't care if they are 'in' or not- i love them!)
PS- great topic softgrey!

I'm all in for shorts as well, slouchy, city I don't care as long as they have pockets. I'll probably pair them with any kinds of shirts with pattern and blouses. I'll try wearing more skirts, also with pockets. A waistcoat in cream or light grey would be nice as well...
And I want a light trench and I want to add a few cropped jackets too my wardrobe.
I'm not sure about the colours, but I think that I'll be wearing a lot of curry colored, pruple, white, cream, grey and black. Also I want something in brocade...
I'll be using the flats I have from last year, I still like them very much. I am going to invest in some heels, especielly some open toed ones... Well I would love some open toed flats as well, like the Louboutin´s for Derek Lam (ss 06).
Silver and gold bags are it for me. But I probably should get a nice leather one as well... Uhh and hairbands hairbands hairbands . scarfs I'll be wearing more scarfs, especially some with print and motives... And sunglasses of course.
I'll probably add more later...

For spring and summer, everything is eased up and slouchy. I like natural fibers, very soft and drapey.
I've laid in a supply of skirts and dresses, like several cotton sundresses with empire waists that I plan to wear with ballet flats or Birkenstocks in the summer. In the spring, though, I'll be wearing dresses/ skirts with boots, and then switching over to lighter footwear in the summer. Shorts are okay, but vintage. Let's bypass the Britney-era shorty shorts and go for a retro feel.
Well I would love some open toed flats as well, like the Louboutin´s for Derek Lam (ss 06).
